A War Ends, and What's Next · 3:20pm May 5th, 2018

There's not much to say, really. By the grace of God, I've finished this big story. Is it unwieldy at this length? Yes, but, at the very least, you can read this on a very long flight.

A War: The Curtains are Closing · 2:03pm May 4th, 2018

A little heads-up: I just did some progress on the second-to-last chapter of the story (which means that "Press Release" is the third-to-last chapter). If God is willing, I'll be releasing the final two chapters tomorrow. When that hits, I'll put up a post about what I think of the story and plans for the rest of the year.

A War: Delayed Again · 3:13pm Mar 15th, 2018

Once again, due to technical difficulties, I wasn't able to write anything for today. Hopefully, things will straighten up tomorrow. Sooner or later, though, I might stop posting blog posts heralding one- or two-day delays.

Meanwhile, about those "Afterthoughts" posts on my other stories? I'll get to that in April, if God is willing.

A War: One Day Off · 11:44pm Feb 26th, 2018

I wasn't able to write a chapter yesterday due to technical difficulties. Hopefully, I'll be able to post one up today.

And, that's all.

Afterthoughts: Society as We Know It · 7:48am Jan 27th, 2018

"Society as We Know It" is a story about reformed changelings. And, to be honest, that's it at the very core. While some of the chapters do focus more on the ponies than on the changelings, the overarching theme of it all is the changeling race after their wholesale...change. Now that it's been over a month since the end of that long tale, what's left to say?

A War: Plan Adjusted · 1:16pm Jan 26th, 2018

The schedule's changed. Long story short, expect it to end by October or November (but if I'm optimistic about it, August). The reason why is that, when I said that it would end by December, I planned out a schedule of three chapters a week regularly. Now that I'm pumping out five to six per week, that means the story will end earlier. I might be able to squeeze in some more short stories here and there throughout, but I'm not sure.

A War: Storyline Planned Out · 2:58pm Jan 13th, 2018

So, I did something. That something was, well, planning out the storyline of "A War". I've set targets/milestones for each month, with the final chapter appearing by December. This tackles two problems of mine: pacing (which I'm awfully slow at when I'm not careful) and writer's block.

Not much else to say, really. :twilightsheepish:

Merry Christmas! · 2:59pm Dec 25th, 2017

Well, merry Christmas! It's indeed the season to be joyful and happy. The time of giving—not getting but giving. But, why do we keep celebrating Christmas?

Stop and think about it. Why Christmas? Why set aside the end of the year as the time of being happy and receiving gifts? We could just make it a holiday and just enjoy ourselves—but, why the emphasis on gifts and giving?

To get straight to the point: Jesus Christ.

Society as We Know It: Frustrating and Rewarding · 1:49am Dec 18th, 2017

I'm saving the majority of my "afterthoughts" about Society as We Know It for the final chapter. However, since I'm winding down with the last stretch of this epicly long tale—I'm currently writing the third-to-last chapter—I'm a bit eager to give my two cents on, well, the length of the story.

Change of Plans · 1:17am Dec 5th, 2017

Well, then. Due to some second thoughts, I'll be scrapping the Pillars-focused story "Getting with These Modern Times" in favor of the Great Crystal War story I was planning for January. Expect the first chapter to appear today. With that, have a good day. :)
