The following story is taking place in a different Equestria, just before the changeling invasion, where Twilight spent most of her time researching transdimensional Magic, looking for a way to strengthen Equestria, and increase its allies. As for Shining Armor and Cadence, they are still a secret to Twilight due to the fact that he and Cadence were around the area the Crystal Kingdom would reappear, waiting for it. This, is where they met and grew to love each other. This occurrence would cause them to go back to Canterlot, at least for a moment to wed. During the travel back to Canterlot, Queen Chrysalis followed them, and studied how Cadence and Shines reacted to one another, and, during the night had her changelings take Cadence, and took her place.
