Thank you! :pinkiehappy:

The three distinct viewpoints helped explore three different transformation stories at the same time, and they made switching from scene to scene a bit more dynamic and meaningful, but as each character set out on their own path and basically had their own parallel storylines, it really turned the story into three, multiplying the word count.

Switching between viewpoints like this might be more common with third-person narration? As first person is chiefly used for immersion and putting the reader right into a character's perspective, with all their biases and private thoughts, I guess switching from one character to another might not be as interesting, but it does happen: with Prench of course, but also the original Five Score, Divided by Four in a less extreme way.

Amber and Laurence are my personal faves too, in good part because they're just easier to write for. But hopefully Sweetchard should really benefit from Volume 2, and finally come into his own.

your welcome!! vol 1 of a prench tale was absolutely delightful to read, the constantly shifting trio of protagonists and their character arcs and progression weaving in and out of each other has made it into something i've never really seen done. granted i dont read a whole lot of fanfiction or books (processing disorders, only recently found fimfiction had actually incredibly good tools for reading accessibility) so i cant exactly speak on it being something used often but reguardless

the way it was used was super effective at keeping the story engaging, every cliffhanger for each character didnt feel like too bad a point to stop and switch perspective! and each character were extremely compelling, i was honestly waiting a while for laurance to turn around and kind of get with the whole thing. but once her reasons for not wanting to were revealed? everything made sense. she and amber are by far my favorite characters.

good luck with volume two!

Thank you for the watch, fave, and kind comment on Tri-State Area Girls the other day!

More chapters are coming, in spite of my glacial pace, and hopefully pretty soon!
