Just a little head's up, everyone: the next chapter of "The Iron Horse" is coming up very soon. The chapter is "done," but after talking to my editor, it needs some heavy rewrites. He says it has some really good stuff, but some parts just weren't working, and I think he's right. But I think you'll enjoy the new entry when it's finished. It may be a nightmare this night, but I have some tricks up my sleeves and I think you'll find it a treat.

First of all, if you follow "The Iron Horse" and haven't read up through the end of "Giggle at the Ghost in the Machine, Part 4," then you might want to wait before reading this. If you have, then carry on.

Just a little heads up for anyone who might want to know: "The Iron Horse" will be updating today. And more good news is that another chapter should follow tomorrow or the day after!

I just have to do some rewrites on the next chapter, so I can't do a double update, but at least y'all won't have to wait long for more robot pony.

Happy birthday, America! Especially lately, I'm rather proud to be from this country. Despite being animated in Canada, I think Pinkie's pretty happy too. Heck, Canada Day was only a few days ago anyway!

Oh, and "The Iron Horse" is almost ready for another update. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Depends on how heavily I need to edit it.

Just a general announcement to folks here. After getting a surprisingly large amount of feedback, all quite helpful, by the way, a new cover has been chosen. The votes are in and I tend to agree with the voters on this one: Option 3 was the clear winner, and so "The Iron Horse" now has a new cover! (The original post can be found here.)

I figure having the title isn't really necessary in this case, since it appears with the entry anyway. Here are some options. In the most recent chapter of "The Iron Horse: Everything's Better with Robots!" we see Twilight Sparkle wake up from a nightmare and fly outside to calm herself. She meets Gadget, who also confesses to having a nightmare. The two of them talk, they make up from their earlier fight, and they resolve to try harder to help Turing Test.
