This story is a sequel to Rainbows have nothing to hide

Rainbow understands how Twilight feels. Being in love for the first time can be scary. She wishes she could say something that would comfort her, but feels that being patient with the mare is the best way to bring her closer.

The sun sets in the distance, but Rainbow is far too distracted with the thought of someday to completely focus on it.

After overworking herself with friendship problems and teaching and running an animal sanctuary, Fluttershy was near exhaustion. Thankfully, Rarity had a solution: vacation in Manehatten, with Coco offering to keep her company. Things don't turn out quite as Fluttershy expected, but then again, who can predict how one's feelings can change for another?

This story is not about mental health medication, it was intended as a thought experiment about happiness. Also, We Happy Few came out a lot later than when I wrote this! I'm well aware there are similarities, but I wrote this quite a bit before it came out.

Love is a funny thing. It can surpass any barrier, transcend time and space, and bring any two ponies together.

Pinkie Pie understands this. It isn't really helping her find the courage to tell Princess Celestia how she really feels, especially since she might not be the only pony to feel about Celestia in that way.
