This story is a sequel to Cadence Unbridled (Sections 1 & 2)

True Star has made her decision. She will train to become Cadence's guardian angel. She will not allow Cadence to endure the same suffering, or the same death. Training for such a dangerous task will be challenging and the lives of the dead are more complex than they might first appear.

Queen Chrysalis forces Zecora to make a poison which Cadence is then tricked into drinking, thinking it is a gift from Twilight Sparkle. Twilight Sparkle and her friends need to find a cure quickly, or Cadence will surely die. (Happens between season 2 and 3)

Cadence's life isn't exactly typical, even for a mortal alicorn. Trouble seems to find her in a big way wherever she goes and whatever she does, whether it's goblins, malcontents or mutated changelings. There seems to be no end to her problems.
