I do not consider myself a brony, but I like the show. I'm also passionate about animals, both living and extinct and I just like talking with other people about them and teaching about them.

The Sabertooth Files: Dinofelis · 6:39pm Jun 10th, 2020

Imagine that you wake up from sleeping in and not caring what your boss says and you find yourself in a patchwork of woodlands and grasslands, and the first animals you see are wildebeest and impala, you think to yourself "Okay I'm in Africa wait......how did I even get here!?". To help answer this, we can look at the anatomy of sabertooth skeletons which can give us clues as to how these predators would have killed big animals.

The sabertooth species that most people think of is Smilodon fatalis, the most famous of all sabertooths by far. So I figured I would start with this animal with my Sabertooth blog series.
