Alto is staying in canterlot for a whole year. And comes across two alicorn princesses that are rulers of equestria. When alto sees them, she is curious to know more about them. However she’s mostly interested in one princess, one that she can spend time with.

After Alto practices her viola she feels something strange. When she comes back to practice again a new string is attached to the instrument. Alto decides to test it out but will soon regret it as she will experience hallucinations and voices.
