Today, I have learned that my friend, CvBrony, lost his friend, Gabby, today to an ongoing illness.
CvBrony is the author of the story, Rites of Ascension, and is an outstanding guy who truly cares for his friends and followers.
As many may have heard, I suffered a heart attack yesterday. They rushed me down to Maine General in Portland, where they immediately prepped me to put a stent in. I don't remember them putting it in but it seems to have done wonders.
The heart attack effected my right ventical. Fortunately, it looks like the damage was minimized, chiefly because I called for an ambulance quickly, and they was able to stabilize me quickly.
Well, a while back, I wrote something. I redid the lyrics to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song, Californication, to tell the tale of our Beloved Princess of Friendship, Twilight.
Fast forward a length of time, and I asked a friend of mine to take a look at it, and see if he could improve it...
And... maybe, just maybe... even sing it.
Today was the day of the largest group ride here in Maine. The United Bikers of Maine annual Toy Run. It is one of two things I have on my yearly must-do list. The Toy Run is to gather toys for those kids who due to circumstances (poor families, loss of home due to fire, homeless kids in shelters and those stuck in the state system without foster families, ect) might not get anything for Christmas.
