Thanks to all who supported The River Rose, and to those few who gave direct encouragement; and to those fewer still who have been patiently waiting for Chariots of Chaos. I began publishing it a couple days ago.

I write this only to make fans of The River Rose aware of the story's existence, since I believe I share a house with more people than have deigned to read the first chapter of 'Chariots.' Though perhaps what little attention it is getting is more than it deserves.

Hello readers.

Now that I've finished with The River Rose, I'm in the planning stages of a new story. After a lot of struggling, I finally feel secure enough in the viability of the plot, that I think it's safe to reveal it's the continuation of—or "sequel" to—River Rose. Yes, it'll likely be another doozy for length. I start writing scenes tomorrow, and when I'm satisfied with that I can start typing.

It isn't yet my customary time to publish a new chapter, but I thought I'd let you guys know that the recent hurricane in the Northeastern US has been particularly devastating, and I live in a very rural area with a low rescue priority. I won't be able to access my computer or publish the next chapter of River Rose until the power returns. Here's hoping the power comes back soon so I can publish by the 4th. You guys are too supportive to leave hanging!

I'm really really sorry for the long wait. I've had a lot of reading to do lately, but I won't bore you with excuses. I'm editing Chapter 13 of The River Rose right now, and will publish it just as soon as I'm finished.

I will try to publish a new chapter of The River Rose each Thursday. I am writing the final chapter at the moment, and expect most of the story to be ready for final editing quite soon. After that the remaining chapters will be published just as quickly as I can get around to them. Thanks for your patience and enthusiasm. :)

I'm kind of in a bad way emotionally right now. May cause some delays. Sorry if don't stay on schedule.

I'm planning on the rest of the chapters of The River Rose being uploaded weekly or semi-weekly until I've actually finished the story so I can get the whole thing sorted nice and clean. I don't like editing a chapter I've already published, which is often necessary with hindsight. Only four more major scenes left to write, shouldn't be very long now. Many thanks to those who have commented positively. The self-esteem boost really helps me want to keep working. :)
