Okay. I gotta come clean with this.

I'm not enjoying writing The Garden Beyond anymore. The only thing going through my mind when I think "I need to get TGB finished." is "Ugh. I just wish that fic would get out of the way so I could write something I'd be happier with."

I started writing it because I thought it would be some fun background exploration and get people talking. I don't feel I really accomplished my goal on either of these points.

Well, first off, please forgive me for the extended silence. University has been a big headache for a while, but this seems to be clearing up with me going on an internship starting this january.

I intend to resume writing The Garden Beyond soon; I'm just as eager to see the rest of the story as you guys (I hope) are, possibly more.

I'm sorry for how terribly slow the pace on my updates is. Inspiration has not been kind to me.

Just a heads-up: University is doing a number on me, and will be doing that for a while. Meanwhile, my inspiration is very much missing.

It may be a while before I can get to TGB 6.

Sorry it took me so long to get this one out, life has been throwing a bunch of curveballs at me, and I got the writer's block something fierce.

It's here now, and I know I say this every time, but, I'll try getting the next one out in a saner timespan.
