Well, July is over, and I finally have a free moment when I may be able to write. I'm still going to be focusing on my original stuff, but I plan on putting out the rest of the Equestrian Idol story arc (Tux n Tails) this month.

So Worldwide Bronies on Facebook recently had a "make the admin fall in love with you in one comment" contest, with the prize being she would draw the winners' OCs. I missed the deadline, but I wrote a sonnet, immortalized here.

Hallo, alles.

Next month is Camp NaNoWriMo, and it's also time to find a job. So bottom line is, I'm not going to touch fanfiction of any kind until August 1st. I'll be working feverishly on rewriting Breakaway, my first finished project. At the time, it was 27,000 words and took me six months to write. And it's complete and total crap. This is my third attempt at rewriting it, and this is going to be the good one.

I am going to publish it this time.

Tux n Tails is on its way to another chapter. Granted, it's nowhere near done, but it will be done next week. I've put my Star Wars fanfic on simmer so that I can take care of y'all.

3 weeks ago tomorrow, I left on choir tour wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. I'm currently freezing my can off in my dorm room, going through all 3 seasons in order while getting my write on. Now I have but one question.

Who in the hoof dropped the ball?! It's supposed to be spring, but it still feels like winter! Just watch. Next month, it'll suddenly turn into an oven up here. We have two seasons in Walla Walla: winter (8 months) and summer (4 months).

Look. It's the off-season, and I've moved on. Tux n Tails will still be completed. But my current big project is a Star Wars fanfic entitled "Forbidden". It's edgier than other stuff I've written (or at least, published), and I plan on publishing it eventually. But right now, it's in need of beta readers. Here's a basic summary:

I've already mentioned this story, but I have a new story soon in the running. (Again, looking for beta readers!) I'm being sorta forced to put it forward because it's the only thing of note that takes place between the most recent chapter of Tux and the next one. And the next chapter of Tux does contain a spoiler or two from my Doctor Whooves story.

And just to be clear, I know the official spelling is "Doctor Hooves", but this is skeuomorphism in action.
