Some writers are incapable of moving beyond their ego to take constructive criticism. Some know the rules of writing and choose to ignore them or remain willfully ignorant rather than improve themselves. There is no helping these people because they do not desire help, they desire validation, despite knowing that they have put forth little effort to deserve it. These people deserve nothing more than the knowledge of their failures, laid out stark and bare for the world to see, so they can realize that no, they will not get the free pass they hope for, because the real world is waiting outside their front door and it will not hesitate to knock them down.

The sooner you realize this, the sooner you'll stop wasting your time with them. I was like you once, but I know better now, and you will too, eventually.
