Pinkie Pie is super excited to stay at Applejack's for Hearth's Warming so she can finally catch Santa Hooves coming down the chimney! Though, when she finds out that Applejack doesn't believe because of a lack of presents, she has a bit of a change of plans.


This was written for the Quills and Sofa's December 19th Speedwriting contest, where the prompt was "December Holiday" and "Belief". Thanks to The Hat Man for editing!

In an unfortunate work accident, Calamus--a weather pegasus--has lost his hearing. His lifelong friend Syrinx volunteers to teach him Pegasus Sign Language, and in the process the two learn more about each other than either expected.

Dinky Hooves has been struggling with sleep paralysis and nightmares for a week, keeping her and her mother up. Armed with new support and instructions, she fights for a full night's sleep for one final time.
