I'll be honest: While I've still got this story for Shade Starcunning and Defiance I'm really taken up with an actual novel I'm writing.
This is not to say that I'm giving up, considering the last delivery dates, but it's more I've found another interest and I'm trying to get that done with it.

I was less than impressed.
Also, I started writing my ever-escalating version of Defiance, using similar themes to the second season.
Without spoiling anything, it will eventually tie into the second season and maybe even the forth season of MLP.

I can spend half an hour typing out a blog post, trying to explain why I can't write. (1k words plus).
But I can't write a goddamn 500 word chapter in a story (Shade) that I've been thinking about for a year in tens of weeks.
I wish I was back writing 'Versing space, where like 50 people read it and didn't care what happened as long as Farle got hurt in some unique way.

Seriously. I posted Shade Starcunning almost a goddamn year ago and I'm barely scratched the surface of that f***ing story. (Bleeped because I'm not sure if no NSFW posts means no swearing.)

I've also put 'Versing Space on hiatus with a view to cancel it. Seriously, that story wasn't going anywhere and was rubbish anyway.

I'm gunna drop some honesty on you guys.

Shade Starcunning hit a major snag regarding character development. I've spent a long time developing a Ponyville-saga/ return to canterlot/ other stuff in the story arc, but I feel that the character isn't developed enough for these changes to make sense.
Essentially, my problem is I'm (If we're using the parlance of a fan) I'm writing season two while season one is 50% complete.

I'm thinking about just not posting stories until they're close to being wrapped up.
I have like nine work in progress and three posted (Still WIP), but whenever I post a story, suddenly it turns from being 'Whoa fun!' to 'Oh god, I have to write this? And still maintain the characters? WHAT WAS I THINKING?!'
