New Story in my Solidarity Series · 7:02pm Dec 20th, 2021
Howdy do kids. If anyone's been following Solidarity Among Students, Class 1-A Edition, you might be interested to know that I've put out a Companion story to go along with it.

So, I made a new thing again! First one in a while. Do ya like My Hero Academia? If not you probably don't care.
I slapped out another one today. This one's another character piece, dealing largely with Catra and Bow's dynamic, and Glimmer and Bow's relationship. Obligatory Catradora moment is present because I am a whore.
So I wrote another one. This one sorta expands on some Etherian traditions that are implied In the show and confirmed by the show runner and staff. Part of the same series I’ve been writing for a while now. I am apparently Catradora trash with no ambiguity now.
Okay so I've already written a second one. At this point it's part of a series. We'll see if I write more of them or not.
Jeeze. Years since I wrote my one and only MLP fic, and now I've slapped out two for She-Ra in two weeks.
This one also covers some emotional baggage that I think would have been good to address in the series. It also follows directly from the last one.
Nobody deserves things. Nobody at all.
Let me back this up. I've been seeing on the internet recently some spirited discussion about whether certain redemption moments -- and "redemption" moments -- in a recent popular television series were "deserved." I also had this argument with someone on a fanfic, whether a character "deserved" to be forgiven for their horrible trespasses.
Let me elucidate a point of personal philosophy.
Hey. Kids. I have my first new fanfic in like a million years.
It's not here though. Since Knighty still hasn't gotten general fiction up and running, I'm forced to put it somewhere else. It's on AO3 right now, but I'll probably crank it up on Fanfiction.net eventually. Maybe I'll even post it as a blog post later. I dunno.
Songs of the Spheres by GM Blackjack.
This story is long. Horrifyingly so. And it is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.
But it's goddamn interesting. And even when I got to a chapter I didn't like, it never failed to keep me interested.
It's a mega-crossover. It's a musing on the nature of narrative and story. It's an exploration of quite a few philosophies.
