So here's a fun fact about Throsten...

As I mentioned in When Friendship Shimmers, Throsten the Umbreon was given a harem that included females of the other Eeveelutions of Glaceon, Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Leafeon, and Sylveon plus the fan-made Eeveelution Nucleon. Side note here: If this list helps anyone who wants to take a crack at pairing the various Eeveelutions up with the lands Celestia listed off, then feel free to PM me.

Well, when I created that plot device for ending off his character ark within my OC self's lore (which at the time, did not include Nucleon), for the weirdest reason it always felt familiar to me.

Well while I was digging through my Scrapped Ideas Bin; the place where everything that didn't get included into my OC self's lore went but I still created originally to become a part of it; I stumbled upon an Male Eevee Villian OC named Samson or "Sam" for short. When I looked at the details for Sam, that's when it all made sense.

What is Sam's goal? To make himself harem of female eeveelutions through mind control. While I had removed the mind control aspect for Throsten's part, and instead had him be the decendent of the ancient Eeveelution Hero of the Eeveelution Lands which would give him full control over all Eeveelution territories and allow him to have a harem of females of the various Eeveelutions (minus Umbreon of course) as a birthright; overall, it was a very similar concept.

So yeah, you all get some fun facts about Throsten in a "behind the scenes" special blog post. I'll still make a separate blog post giving out Throsten's full character arc at some point after this Saturday's chapter update for When Friendship Shimmers, but I figured that I'd bring this up since I just NOW discovered this.
