You know what's a good motivator to come back to writing? Spite.
You know what's also a good motivator? Checking in and seeing all the wonderful feedback and validation.
You know what's even better? Both of those things combined.
No, I have not watched the s9 premiere yet. I've been behind on the show for a while now due to a number of other factors in my life and the choice to focus on my writing for other fandoms. But my bestie Kimba just gave me the rundown of the s9 premiere and as I suspected when I saw the trailer, they did my boy Sombra dirty. Not entirely, as I'm given to understand that he did do some shit... but basically my constant reaction in the call with Kimba where she gave me that summary had me going "y u do dat to mah boi" over and over. She can confirm this.
I also owe her a world of thanks because she's definitely helped me get some of my spark back. Make no mistake, my creative fire isn't entirely with MLP right now and hasn't been for a while (I'm actually working on a G Gundam fanfic as my Camp NaNoWriMo April project this month. Which, I really should be punching away at when instead I'm writing this blog post, oops.) But she also recently finished listening to ChaoticSeven's reading of Lingering Shadows and gave me her feedback on it and I will never not cry with joy whenever someone tells me how much they love that story. So thank you to Kimba, because that alone helps so much more than people know, and logging back on here and seeing what reviews I've gotten does the same thing.
Wait. Season 9 is already out? I just hope they have less episodes with the school kids, thise are the worst
