Alicorn blindness (for ponies) is more of a size question. Twilight, for most of her alicorn run, was 'normally' sized and rarely had her wings noticeable enough to catch the eye (or if they were, then her horn wasn't). Lyra is still normal-size (or is she when in uniform?), maybe on large size of normal but not (yet) in Cadence/Luna size ...

In any case, I can only wonder how Lyra might react if she can sense the Map of Harmony getting teleported… though whether she can or not is its own question, to say nothing of whether Trixie will pull that kind of shenaniganery while she’s awakening her chakras.
There’s also the question of Rolling Thunder’s homeland. Lyra may well find a surreal home away from home, or at least a distorted echo.
In any case, happy to see more of the virtuous cycle in progress. Lyra continues to change lives for the better (and stranger.) Looking forward to more.

Rolling thunder has some really nice plasma thruster going on there, but can she learn to overdrive it into the higher harmonics to generate cross modulation effects that would allow projective accelerating effect fields in orthogonal directions as well.
Phaser array, Plasma Wave Cannon, shield projectors and maybe even a Jump Gate when coupled with a Plasma Rainboom?
As for metal armor not working with electricity? Trying to make a metal and gem blend weave in three dimentions to give stripline energy and magic blend manipulation is going to be real fun and would take some ubertalented genius in fabric meta materials to weave it?
Oh man, Parkers 7 fold symetry pencil weave is going to be so much fun if it happens to match the equirements even good enough.
