Cutie Blossom Bash: Misty is officially the new Fluttershy, since she's scared of public speaking and being seen. And it was nice seeing the Mane Five's backstories how they got their cutie marks. Though for Hitch's it revealed he wasn't tolerable of young Sprout rejecting a filly's request to play so Hitch chose to play with her. And yet Hitch somehow still decided to be friends with Sprout after all that even when he shows nothing but a smug and bad attitude.
Family Trees Pt.1: The Breezies have returned! And they're harder to understand than they were in FIM. But at least Hitch can translate. And we get a glimpse of Misty's past we know her name really is Misty and not something else. And the Night Market was a wild place where once could find all sorts of old Equestrian stuff. Although I'm starting to dislike Zipp's behavior when pestering and interrogating Misty about her visions, her past, or even about Opaline.
Family Trees Pt. 2: Alphabittle: Misty, I am your father! It almost sounded too obvious when Alphabittle caught a glimpse of her at Zephyr Heights in last season, like we thought he knew every Unicorn, but he never met her before. But yeah now we know Misty had family in Bridlewood before she got separated. And thanks to Misty, the group got to see the Dragonlands, which apparently is no longer a volcano outside Equestria. I could never picture, Ember, Garble, or Torch living in a place like that. But we see no other dragons there. So much for a chance to see Spike.
Father Of Bridlewood: This kinda had a plot anyone could've seen coming. With Alphabittle reunited with his long lost daughter, he's determined to pick up where he left off with her. But forgets that his daughter is no longer the filly he remembers her. Especially since she doesn't remember too much of when she was a filly and what she used to like or what she used to be like. And we finally get to see Elderflower whom Izzy's made reference to before. And she knows so many legends and such about Equestria, including the special trees the Mane Five Grew in Maretime Bay, the Wishing tree in Bridlewood, and the tree they grew at Zephyr Heights. Plus she's also a descendant of an old friend of Twilight's... Moondancer.
Melody Smelody: Kind of a stand alone episode out of the more plot driven episodes this chapter. Pip makes a new hoof polish for Mane Melody using some thistles from Bridlewood, only the plants smell horrible. And the ponies use that to make their own version of the Ice Bucket Challenge, this time seeing who can stand the smell longest. And Jazz not wanting to crush Pip with all this logic learns a thing about honesty in the end. If anything that's directed to the plot it's Misty learning more about Opaline's plan to conquer Equestria by draining the dragons of their fire and enslaving them.
Nightmare On Mane Street: It's Nightmare Night again, even though they had one in TYT, but I guess it proves they're not all in complete continuity. And the new Mane Six turn the Lighthouse into a Haunted House, but they get so caught up in making it good they forget to have fun with it. Plus it was funny seeing Pip desperate to scare Misty who apparently doesn't scare so easily, unless it's Opaline doing it. Speaking of, it turns out Opaline's lair is also one of the special trees the Mane 5 grew, which raises the question, did Opaline have friends in the past since that's how those trees grow. But because of that link Opaline used it to teleport herself to Maretime Bay. Which also means the connection between the trees is like a teleportation system. And Opaline needs it because apparently she's trapped in her lair or close to it according to the legend Twilight encased her in a magic bubble surrounding the lair and she cannot escape until now. But despite appearing in Maretime Bay, none of the other ponies are taking her seriously because it's Nightmare Night and think it's all an act, which annoys her greatly. But she managed to do something there but stealing Posey's cutie mark. Bad enough she's been the butt monkey of the series since MYM and TYT began, but to be violated like this is a new level of bad luck for her. And now the ponies discovered a map to the dragonlands that they can use to get back there before Opaline does. With Secret of Starlight coming up, we'll see if this has anything to do with Opaline's plan or something else. But sooner or later we'll be seeing the dragons again.
Darn, and I was so hoping to see Spike, Ember, etc again...well hopefully sooner rather than later....

Somehow, I wish more creatures will return to generation 5: Yaks, Changelings, Hippogriffs, and Griffons. The new mane 6 went to the dragon lands. Let's hope they visit more places.
Well, it’s been centuries, so maybe the Dragons had to flee from the Volcano and had to adapt to their new environment.
