    Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 46 (Yes #2)

    Here come the JoJo references....

Never seen the show, but the memes are funny.

Became a Yes fan through other means.

"Roundabout" by Yes from the 1971 (yep, teo albums in one year!) album Fragile.

    Love this song.

    Thank you.

To those followers of mine who've talked to me in a few longer PM's about personal feelings of mine cocerning things I don't care to mention here:

if you happen to read this blog post, you guys know who you are.

(I promise, anyone else who reads this, I am mentally sound. It's nothing like that at all. Neither is it anything inappropriate, but why should I even have to say that?)

    Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 45 (Yes #1)

Okay, until I obtain any new albums, this band is the last one that I haven't covered yet.

And YES, I am going to spend some extra time on it, like I did with ELO.

Good music is more important than anyone's sanity, especially my own.

Yes is the best progressive rock band. No question.

ELO Week 8/9 (Mixtape 25) · 2:29pm June 5th

Secret Messages by ELO, from the 1983 album of the same name.

Basically during the Eldorado/Face The Music years, Elo was accused by some of having malicious backwards messages in their songs.

As this was false, Jeff Lynne later decided to make an entire album full of "secret messages". A shorter version was released in 1983, but the (almost) full 70+ album finally saw the light of day on vinyl in 2018. I have both the 40-45 minute long CD and the full length vinyl.

Didn’t know this one but defitnirly a lot more 80s sounding ELO with futuristic but still obviously 80s special effects lol. What’s not to like?

Were you able to read the text?

It's hard to read so it's Secret Messageish.

Yes, pretty easily. It’s sort of opaque I guess but the words are still pretty clear and easy to read on my phone at least lol. I’m going to drive a forklift across the Atlantic Ocean. I see one on the tarmac of the airport waiting for my flight!

The opacity tag is one of the coolest, but I rarely see it.

Yeah, without that one Psuedobob Delightus fic, I wouldn't know it existed.
