    Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 46 (Yes #2)

    Here come the JoJo references....

Never seen the show, but the memes are funny.

Became a Yes fan through other means.

"Roundabout" by Yes from the 1971 (yep, teo albums in one year!) album Fragile.

    Love this song.

Jon Anderson – lead and backing vocals

    Thank you.

To those followers of mine who've talked to me in a few longer PM's about personal feelings of mine cocerning things I don't care to mention here:

if you happen to read this blog post, you guys know who you are.

(I promise, anyone else who reads this, I am mentally sound. It's nothing like that at all. Neither is it anything inappropriate, but why should I even have to say that?)

    You guys are the best.

Thank you, each and every one of you.

It truly means a great deal to me.

Thanks for putting up with weirdness sometimes.

    Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 45 (Yes #1)

Okay, until I obtain any new albums, this band is the last one that I haven't covered yet.

And YES, I am going to spend some extra time on it, like I did with ELO.

Good music is more important than anyone's sanity, especially my own.

Yes is the best progressive rock band. No question.

Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 39 · 2:31pm June 19th

Even though this song mentions a "road", it always makes me think of a group of people on a train.

This is another of those songs that, from the moment I first heard it, I just knew it was excellent.

Road to Nowhere by Talking Heads from the 1985 album Little Creatures.

I simply cannot describe my attachment to this song.

Thanks ben.

I was already fixing the video, but did not notice I forgot to fix the number.

Reload the page and it's all there.

Dang you're fast.

Like the kind of a cappella intro. Talking heads were decently big in the 80s.

And well be forever big to me.:rainbowlaugh:

You’re big as you were just elected President of Comoros

5787317
I was? Thank you voters!

5787346
They love you so much in Comoros. Now you need to invade Madagascar that’s what the voters want.

5787353
Ok, well do. Hope some hyper-intelligent penguins don't stop me.

5787371
Be careful. The penguins might team up with your dog and lick your face

5787387
I mean the penguins from the Madagascar movies

5787395
Oh, that. I’ve heard of that series but have never seen it nor know anything about it really. Maybe something to do with talking animated animals. I’m probably one of the few Americans who knows a LOT more about the real island country in Africa (the 4th largest island in the world) than the movies 😂. I’m sure almost nobody knows the capital Antananarivo or anything about it and its French colonial influence too.

5787422
Even with my minor geography experience, I'll admit i did not know that.

5787503
You and 99.9% of all Americans I’m guessing. Don’t worry about it lol.

That was a fun song. One of the things I'd like to do in a music blog is "versus," where I compare songs with the same title. Most of the time, one song is a cover of the other, but in this case, Ozzy Osbourne also released a song named "Road to Nowhere."

Cool song. And I too have thought of the connections between songs with the same name.
