Doctor Robot Series Completed + Story

Finally, took me the whole weekend, but I managed to finish the Doctor Robot Level Series for Mega Maker. So, now that it's ready for full play, I thought I'd not only share the level IDs for the various levels (which are meant to be played in order), but I'm also going to throw in a story for these levels which you can find after the level IDs past the break.

Doctor Robot Story
One day, while looking after the now decommissioned Time Machine that Wily once used, the time machine began bringing server mechs from the past to the present. Roll who had been looking after the machine, decides to clean it of all bugs and shut it down for good. However, meanwhile Enker and Punk have somehow returned, so both Mega Man and Protoman team up to defeat them. Roll returns just in time, and faces Pluto who was brought back with the server mechs. The trio then face the mastermind behind this attack on Light Labs, a mysterious robot that was disguising itself as Protoman. However, it turns out that a mondern day version of Pluto has stolen Cut Man's plans. Deperate for answers, Roll gives chase.

She then encounters the same mysterious digusing robot as before, this time diguised as Roll herself. However, the true name of this robot is revealed: Doctor Robot. It was him who has rebuilt Enker, Punk, and Pluto to serve a true master and has already rebuilt Cut Man, Bubble Man, and Spark Man.

While Roll manages to defeat Doctor Robot and the rebuilt Cut Man, she soon learns that Doctor Robot has created backup systems at his fortress, with the way blocked by a giant tower that's controlling the castle's barrier system and the tower is guarded by Enker. So, Roll defeats both Bubble Man and Spark Man at warped versions of their original take-over locations to get the remaining two keys to the tower. At the tower, Roll has to defeat the rebuilt Cut Man, Bubble Man, and Spark Man again in order to reach the room where Enker lays who guards the barrier control consol. After defeating Enker, Roll lifts the barrier, only to see rebuilt versions of both Toad Man and Charge Man come out of the castle alongside Pluto.

Thinking these three robots are up to no good, Roll chases down the three robots...only to discover three facilities run by Doctor Robot. First, she encounters a water treatment plant run by Toad Man. Second, Roll encounters Train Depot that is taking old trains and rebuilding them from scratch which is run by Charge Man. And the third mysterious facility run by Pluto is where Roll learns the truth: Doctor Robot is from a dark future where Wily finally wins and destroys Mega Man and all of humanity. But the worst part about this dark future, is that Wily has made it so only Robots can live without issue in the new world, so to prevent Doctor Wily from making this future come to pass, Doctor Robot; the only Robot not under Wily's direct control; came here to the past through the time machine and established a castle where it created itself on a server system, and many, many bodies for the original program to use at it's discression. Roll decides that she must confront Doctor Robot to see if this is indeed the truth, so she travels to Robot Castle.

At Robot Castle, she encounters the rebuilt Toad Man, Charge Man, and Pluto alongside Punk plus the original Doctor Robot; the one that came from the Dark Future. Yet, despite nearly destroying the original Doctor Robot, Roll wonders why the castle isn't finding away as she should've stopped a time loop from happening. But the original Doctor Robot informs her before shutting down that there was never a time loop in place, as by creating a new and different Doctor Robot in it's past, now there's a version of Doctor Robot to ensure Doctor Wily can never defeat Mega Man thus stopping a time loop from occuring. This makes Doctor Robot's original future no longer exist, but instead of returning back to the future, the original Doctor Robot stayed in the past in case the new Doctor Robot needed them for anything.

Assending the assembly line for the bodies to the new Doctor Robot, Roll encounters the Yellow Devil, reprogrammed by the original Doctor Robot to serve the new Doctor Robot. She also meets with the new Doctor Robot, who explains that with itself in place, Wily can never take over the world, and will do everything in his power to make sure that in the event Mega Man does fall, Wily will be unable to take over the world. Which is why the new Doctor Robot has been taking and rebuilding many of the robot masters Wily has used in the past and repurposed them. Doctor Robot 2 also states that none of the robots they rebuilt joined Doctor Robot's cause by force; all were told that after they were destroyed, they were never rebuilt by Dr. Wily, and thus were never given a second chance. With this logic, every robot that Doctor Robot rebuilt, they joined Doctor Robot of their own free will, wanting to ensure that Wily would never take over the world, and have measures in place on the off chance Wily defeats Mega Man so any changes Wily impliments can be reversed quickly and efficiently.

However, shortly after defeating Doctor Robot 2, Wily ambushes Roll, having learnt of the mysterious castle and plans to take it over by force. Though Roll defeats Wily who is using one of his old machines, Wily still lingers in the castle. Mega Man then teleports in, stating that he will make sure that Wily can't take over the systems. It is there that the still functional Doctor Robot 2 remains that Roll just defeated states that not all is lost if Wily takes over the control facility: There's a reset button on the console that can be pressed to reset the castle back to it's factory settings.

With no time to spare, Mega Man chases Doctor Wily, however the clever doctor has hijacked several robot Masters that were still in assembly and sicks them on Mega Man. After Mega Man defeats them all and a hijacked Doctor Robot 2 body, Roll interrupts Mega Man saying that this is her job to finish now, so Mega Man lets his sister have this victory for a change. Roll interupts Wily while he's trying to reprogram the entire server for Doctor Robot 2, so now Roll must defeat Wily for good. Roll manages to do so, causing Wily to realize that it wasn't just Rock he managed to underestimate, but Roll as well. Wily does flee the castle while Roll hits the castle's reset button, but despite this, Mega Man isn't upset at his sister. Protoman shows up late, seeing that his services weren't needed here for a change, but joins in the celebration.

With Doctor Robot 2 as an ally now, the three siblings know that they must remain vigillant: There's a still a slim chance that Wily will succeed despite the intervention of Doctor Robot 1, and only Robots will be able to live on earth. Yet, knowing that such a future can come to exist, is why the siblings agree that the next time Wily appears, all three of them as well as Doctor Robot 2 will do their utmost best to make sure Wily can't succeed.
