    Pray for my sanity.

Have to keep this brief, battery life and all.

Yesterday afternoon, a derecho (very wide, fast moving storm with hurricane force winds) ripped through Bloomington at more than 55mph, knocking out power for more than 100,000 people in the region.

Power has been out for 24 hours, and restoration is not expected to be completed for at least another 30 hours.

    Casuals vs Hardcores (warning: long-ish)

Haven't played a whole lot of Shadow of the Erdtree this evening, because honestly, the raging discourse between the casual and hardcore camps of the Elden Ring playerbase has been far more entertaining over the past 24 hours.

So how to keep this succinct?

I think I'm going to write the rest of the evening.

Worst boss fight of Shadow of the Erdtree so far.

This cheap piece of shit is bad boss design. Period.

Anyone saying otherwise must really love the feeling of their tonsils massaging Fromsoft's scrotum.

Modders, hope you're updating your content with haste.

Pray for my sanity. · 8:32pm Last Wednesday

So, obviously, story updates are on hold.

Pray for my sanity. Worked two hours today moving product to our only store with power, honestly not expecting to work tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that. We actually had that happen here a couple of years ago. The power was out for like three days in the middle of summer and I couldn’t sleep because it was so fucking hot.

I know what that's like, bro. Stay safe and stay cool if you can.

I will be praying for you, your family and your acquaintances. I can't imagine the terror you had to go through in those conditions.

Bloomington? Mn? I used to live near there!

Ugh, that sounds miserable. Hoping for the best, and at least this happened after last week's heat wave, not during.

Indiana.

Sounds awful, stay safe.

Had something similar in my area a few years back, although thankfully it was just for most of the day.

Ugh! We had a derecho come thru about 12 years ago. So weird. Beautiful clear day, when suddenly this insane wind blew thru. Sounded like a freight train. Huge area was affected and our power was out for a week. All in just a few seconds.

Really hope you fare better and get power back soon.

Well, it's been over 30 hours, but you did say at least 30 hours. We await your triumphant and/or exasperated return from derecho hell in the form of some video game post, a new chapter, venting about your stay in derecho hell, or a post about the TYT episode.
