And so, Lyra's Quest takes its first big step! 
And now, the second round of voting for Lyra's Quest! This one is important, take a look at the options available. Choosing one doesn't mean that you won't have a chance to see where another goes later on in the story... if they survive... But, anyway, it will dictate how the story will really proceed! Good luck, and choose wisely!

“Think about it Twilight!” Spike said, eyes flashing with curiosity. “All the worlds we have never imagined! Whole races, cultures... gems! Other dragons that are not jerks!”
Twilight winced, looking down at her assistant.
“Maybe one of those dragons will teach me what it means to be one!” Spike looked up at her. “Please! We have to go!”
“But, Spike, we don’t know what’s out there and-”
“This is our chance, Twilight.” Lyra interrupted, putting her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder. “For Octy, Vinyl and me... to get what we always wanted, for Spike to find better role-models and for you to truly discover something new.”
Twilight gritted her teeth, but then sighed. “I do want to do something new... I just...”
The box whirled. “I WILL PRESENT THREE OPTIONS THEN.”
Vinyl arched an eyebrow. “Only three?”
“THIS UNIT WAS SENT THROUGH MANY WORLDS BEFORE REACHING THIS ONE, TO RECALIBRATE, THIS UNIT NEEDS TO REACH ANOTHER LOCATION AND RECHARGE TO OBTAIN A BETTER READING.”
“Sounds good to me!” Vinyl said, turning to look at the others.
Twilight blinked. “Wait that-”
She was interrupted yet again, although this time by three spheres that were projected out of the box.
“PLEASE CHOOSE DESTINATION”
1: A sphere of energy, with swirling clouds of black, red and white. It feels magical, although strange... like half the magic comes from without as much as the other half comes from within.
2: This sphere gives a strange aura of... death. Dark, then suddenly engulfed in flames only to twist into a warm yellow and back.
3: This sphere shows stars beyond the skies of Equestria. A deep feeling of unease comes from within as much as ancient powers and... yet... there is hope.

I am going to go with option 1... it sounds the safest. Yet I could be horribly wrong!

One sounds the safest, it may hold magic they understand.
Why would they choose two? It sounds dangerous.
Three sounds the farther from Equestria and "ancient powers" sounds like somethig Twi would care for.

Also, you should upload the 'finished' chapters into an actual fic. That way, it's easier for people to catch up.
One could be pretty much anything. Something tells me that it leads to a route more mythical than Equestria though. It gives hints akin to the tales that surround the Doctor and The Sweetie Chronicles.
It sounds like the route that two offers is of conflict with has a strong sense of hope. This route is prolly the best for Spike to grow, but is might very well likely promote hardship as well. Possibly take it for a dark twist?
The third route gives vibs of the various alternate creation and end time tales that have been written for Equestria... Could this lead the story to a stronger linking of the history of the human race's interaction with Equestria?
With all three options frustratingly intriguing, I'm having to go with the first world as my final choice.

No long and rambling comment this time, since no one reads them, I'm just saying choice 1 since it's the only thing that sounds even mildly 'safe'.
