New avatar!

So this is my first blog post; and aside from mainly The Descendant commenting on my page (because I've faved so many of his stories; they're worth it, he's an awesome writer, check him out) this is probably going to be the only thing you see on my page, because I haven't written any MLP fanfic yet.

BUT ANYWAYS. I got on the computer this morning, and checked my favourite art blogs; I technically have a tumblr, but I don't use it for following anything, so I do it the old-fashioned way by bookmarking pages and checking back regularly. I went on A Pony a Day, because a) the artwork is pretty there, and b) I'd requested a picture ages ago, and I'd been at the top of the list for that artist for a while; I wasn't actually expecting to see my picture. But it was there! AND THAT WAS AWESOME.

As the artist said, they'd lost their mouse for a while so couldn't really draw. That makes perfect sense, and is a perfectly good reason for the delay; before I bought a mouse for my laptop I was just using the touchpad, and due to that I almost gave up on digital art before I even started.

I doubt anybody will notice that my avatar changed, and even less will care; but I just wanted to share that that picture was done.

EDIT: My previous avatar was something I'd mostly made in Pony Creator, although since they didn't have the mane I wanted, I'd ended up mixing together two different styles, and doing a fair amount of editing from scratch, using Paint.NET.
