Dividing Thief Charming in a multi-chapter? Worth it, or not? [Mature story related] · 9:18am Jan 15th, 2014
Now, I've been asking that question for a while now, and, rereading it myself a couple of minutes ago, I decided to ask.
Would you like it better if Thief Charming was to be divided into 5 or 6 chapters instead of that really long unique chapter?
Thanks to the separations I made in text: the "...******..." The story's clearly structured to be divided in chapters.
Now, is it worth the trouble you guys who already faved it will get by receiving many updates notifications for a story that you have already read?
Will it be more agreeable for those who likes to read shorter chapters, or for those who like to reread their favorite scene and then won't have to search for the entire chapter?

while i really liked this story, i will admit that the excessive length made it so that i needed a good 20 minutes to myself so that i could finish it. so if you decide to split it up into chapters, i won't complain.
Adding chapters would be a great Idea! I truly enjoyed the universe, although the NSFW could be toned down a bit. Perhaps flesh out the characters more in a SFW way, then have the NSFW aspects come in once every two chapters or so.

Believe me, I know what it is like for me when it comes to splitting chapters up. Personally, I don't have a problem with "The Thief Charming" being an extensive story. But if that's what you want to do, go for it. It will be enjoyable to read it again, and perhaps make it easier to skip between scenes later on.

I suggest splitting it up. Maybe not 5 or six chapters, but definitely three.

Well it works rather nicely as it is, a 20k word chapter is rather large, but it is certainly not monstrous. I say leave it as is for now, but changing it wouldn't hurt either.
actually im ok with it as it is, it was a cute story and all ( even if i only like the octavia and vinyl parts, i can pretty much live without beatris in it .... but well thats just me)
honestly id love more GTVS instead of a longer story of thief charming.

It's just to divide that extra long chapter in more shorter ones
I'm not planning any extra content for that story anytime soon. (what I thought is actually too close of what I had planned for Scratchin' thieves)

Dude, my eyes were literally on the screen for an hour straight. You can't achieve that effect if you split it into chapters
