Well, the first five chapters of Maud and Cheese came very quickly -- probably because I was thinking about the storyline for a few days before I finally sat down and typed them out. But Chapter 6 is a bit tougher. For this one, I need to come up with song about rocks -- that is, modify some very well know songs into songs about rocks. I'm using well-known human songs, as I'm not sure how songs in Equestria work. I mean, if one of the characters in MLP sings a song in an episode, can that song be considered a song that ponies know?
Anyway, my dear Brony son assures me that songs do not translate well into fan fictions, but I am optimistic. I remember one my friends and I wrote during my Freshman year in college:
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the chem lab that went BOOM
And the bottle of Sulphuric that has eaten half the room
My chances of an "A" must now be looked upon with gloom
Oh chem lab's lots of fun...
That works, right?
