A New Story Is Out. A oneshot I attempted while going over some short short stories from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Namely, "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin and "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe. It's funny how stories used to rely so heavily on overt symbolism back then. I think it is because back then, an understanding of these symbols was common knowledge. It was also around the time of Carl Jung, so the ideas of the collective unconscious were fresh in the Western psyche.
I'm working on the rest of "Bluebelle of the Ball", of course. I simply needed something to restart my mind. Happy reading, everypony. I'm off for some tea.
