(Spoilers, maybe)
So, I'm hoping that this episode resolves the whole Gilda situation from Season 1 or at least brings her back in some capacity.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie being called to an ancient Griffon Kingdom, but having conflicting ideas on what problem needs to be solved.
The episode is so perfectly set up for her to show up once again, but the fact that it's written by Amy Keating Rogers leaves me expecting disappointment-and while I don't hate the woman or go to insane extremes to express displeasure with her writing like some other lunatics-her last writing attempt at Pinkie has made me quite pessimistic in her ability.
The fact that the episode is titled; "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone" also makes me wary that this going to turn out into another fan-fiction-y 'Daring Do appears out of nowhere' episode like the one we got last Season-especially, since that would ruin the possibility for the 'Gilda Returns' episode that I've been hoping for since seeing "Griffon the Brush-Off".
I also realize the fact that it's an ancient Griffon Kingdom probably means that it's possibly that the city is old and abandon with no actual Griffons in the episode at all.
