    Woah!! What exactly IS Humor?!

It's forming a new positive connection in your brain which once had a negitive or neutral reaction that takes you by surprise, not to be confused with making you afraid.

    And boom, gone.

Deleted the heated blog post at the request of a friend, if you have a sour taste in your mouth after that, I don’t, so you shouldn’t either.

    Anyway, so ponies are cute.

Jealousy is a very ugly thing. · 11:11am May 27th, 2016

HAHAHA YEAH! THIS STORY IS JUST GETTIN' PRAISED FOR IT'S ORIGINALITY LEFT AND RIGHT! YEP, NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING SIMILAR WHATSOEVER AT ALL! NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. NOPE.

NOTHING AT ALL LIKE IT IN ANY WAY, VERY, VERY UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL.

JEALOUS AND CRUDE? ME? NAH! WHY WOULD I BE LIKE THAT? THAT WOULD BE VERY RUDE TO THE AUTHOR WHO HAS MADE AN EXCELLENT STORY, WHICH I ADDED TO MY FAVORITES AND UPVOTED BECAUSE IT IS VERY ENJOYABLE. I'M NOT UPSET AT ALL. IT'S NOT LIKE THE COMMENT SECTION IS OUTRIGHT SAYING NO ONE HAS WRITTEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS AT ALL.

IT'S NOT LIKE I FEEL I'M GETTING INDIRECTLY SHITTED ON BY A GOOD DEAL OF THE COMMUNITY THERE.

In all seriousness, it is actually a pretty snazzy one shot. Give it a whirl.

Just in case, please don't start a war in the comments section. I would feel very apologetic towards the author if I caused that. He doesn't deserve that. And honestly the best way to prevent that would be not posting this blog post. BUT IT HURTS-

I was a writer like you.

Then I took an arrow to the meme.

Do what I do when someone makes a comment I don't like: declare "Fuck 'em," and move on. I've been happier since I've made that my MO.

I was wondering when you'd make this...

I say to people who are praising that story send them a link to your story and say it f you enjoyed "Z" story you will enjoy "A" story.

I approve of this kind of approach to critics. I highly recommend it sometimes.

I am pretty sure all the praise is just an attempt to trick Obsolescence to write more horse words.

I actually wasn't hooked by the newer story. It tries way too fucking hard in the beginning and I just backed out.

I have been on both sides of this. It happens.

I didn't get too into that story. What I read of it definitely wasn't as good as yours.

I want to like this post and dislike it at the same time.

I appreciate the praise, and I'm sure there's no ill intent behind it, but I rather not diss his story.

From experience, I know how that can be painful at times.

Thanks dude.

That story isn't so much a ripoff of yours as it is a parody of an entirely different one in the featured box made by an author who apparently didn't realize that Home is for the Weak should have ruined serious Orphan Scootaloo stories forever.

So basically it's entirely your fault for not being effective enough. You could have written the next Airplane!, but you screwed it up.

Yeah, I was there when Obs thought about the story. It's inspired by the orphanloo genre as a whole. There was a serious take on the idea on the featured box, and apparently -- I haven't read it, I might be wrong -- it did nothing with the concept. It just presented the idea for around 20k words, and then went away.

Obs was baffled by the popularity of it. Not because the story is bad, but because it relies entirely on a concept that, let's be honest, is way too 2012 for any of us to take it seriously unless you bring something new to the table. So, wondering if orphanloo was indeed "still a thing", he jokingly asked in the SA chat if he should write a comedy out of that.

We all said "abso-fucking-lutely" because it looked like a good idea.

And it is! Only apparently you had done it before and nobody realized. Welp. This is probably another nail in the coffin, I guess, but quite simply: your story doesn't show from the get-go what it is about, title-and-cover-art-wise. You look at Obs' story, you know it's making fun of orphanloo. You look at yours, you know it has to do with Scoots, but don't really know the gist of it till you read it.

Hence, people think the idea has never been done.

Don't take it personally, tho -- I mean, I know you wrote this blog as a joke, but the fact that you wrote it means that you're slightly fizzled by the whole deal -- it was made in good fun. Nothing's original nowadays. And Obs' story didn't get popular because yours is worse, it's just that he's a good writer, he's got a fame of being a good writer, and the juxtaposition of both fics in the box at the same time was hilarious.

Shit, I even contributed with a joke to the whole thing (which Obs probably didn't include 'cause he knows better, tho I can't know, I haven't read his story either), so I assure you it was all with no ill intent whatsoever.

Also, hey, happens to the best of us. I became an author that was actually read by people with the release of a story named Daring DONE!

Three weeks later, a story also named Daring Done! pops up in the featured box, and it's about Daring fucking Azuhltwhatever's spikey dick until she loses consciousness. Title gets praised as an hilarious, never-done-before pun on her name. I stand in the corner and I cry.

I mean, at least my story was more popular than the clopfic, but yeah -- happens to the best of us.

Yeeeeeah I got a tad rustled, but I wasn't rustled at the author, and I really wanted to convey that. Honestly I'm really upset with anyone else either it's just...
Well shit~
But you know that, it happened to Daring Done.
Sorry that happened to Daring Done, like everyone else, it's how I found you and I fell in love with it.
