I am a terrible, terrible human being. · 9:25am Jun 8th, 2016
I didn't go too far with this right I mean there's the Why Scootaloo chapter and this is kinda on par with it although this is discussing actually doing something to somepony so that's kinda horrible if you think about it but I mean it's comically terrible and should I add the dark tag? maybe I should add the dark tag, this is kinda-
Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize this was the norm.
Having never read the story in question, I have no idea what you're on about.
I'm just here reading the blog posts, laughing at the comedy and the comment wars... I've never actually fought in one but do ya' think if I made a snarky enough post it would burst into flames?

Well first off, I'm flattered you like to simply read my blog posts.
Second, give the story a try! It's chapters are seriously some of the shortest there can be on FIM. I promise- well, I promise nothing, but hey! Comedy is the name of my game, I bet I can make you laugh!
4008342 Fist off, I'm already a fan of one of your stories, but the other ones... I dunno, I just prefer certain story types more than others I guess.
Secondly, that whole comment was essentially me making a Hellsing Ultimate Abridged reference.
Nothing dark about a picnic between a filly and a hungry, hungry, colt. It's totally consensual after all. Now if he was drugged to pass out...

Ahhhh, never seen Hellsing.
Now if I were to guess... The Loser Booth?

HA!! I WASN'T SWEATIN' OVER THIS!
Continues nervous sweating.
This is totally different than the "Why Scootaloo" chapter. The "Why Scootaloo" chapter wasn't something impressionable little me could easily copy in real life.
Also, I'm disappointed. Not a single bad dessert-related innuendo?
Gonna have to make my Asian eyes open to read this...
Haven't read the chapter yet but I'll give the same advice I give everyone; if the story has literally one chapter that's even remotely dark or has potential triggers, put a dark tag and explain which chapter that dark tag is for and what the trigger is.
Do they let you put up Dark and Comedy? Because on the one hand, it's fucking hilarious; on the other hand, Nopony is still describing rape (even without the aphrodisiac it wouldn't be considered consensual-- she's deliberately pushing him into a compromised consent position).
As for did you go too far... See: Nopony seducing Twilight by bookshaming watersports and Scootaloo's "Freak Everypony The Fuck Out" murder description. I think going too far is more or less what we're expecting at this point and would be disappointed if you weren't bringing the fucking crazy. :)

Oh yes, the Dark and Comedy tag can be put together.
4008963 Maybe it's tragedy I'm thinking of, then. Yeah, I'd include Dark; you go there, in one of the few actually funny examples of black comedy I've seen not just on this site but gone pro. You may lose a few people to filters, but you'll also lose some whinging over "Shit I almost vomited when Nopony/Scootaloo peed/described a hellacious way to murder severalponies _souls_" not to mention this, so probably evens out.
My view:
If the moderators aren't bugging you about it, fuck it.
I find that the Dark tag is like saying you have cancer. Only edgy stories have it, and you don't want it.
If it doesn't fit this description (which it doesn't), don't use the dark tag.
4008376 Nope, guess again. As for Hellsing abridged, well... I hope you're not squeamish when it comes to gore, sexual innuendo, or religion bashing, because if you can handle the source material, this will be one of the funniest series' you've ever watched:
... what?
No, really, what's got you all worried again?

Nothing apparently.
Most if the time, if you question the need for a dark tag it probably is safer to add it in. Maybe mark chapters or put a list in the description about kinda dark stuff. I personally don't think it needs it but...
