    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

I'm going to a con.

A PONY CON.

Everfree Northwest, to be precise. Two days from now, I shall be ensconced in a Seattle hotel room, where I imagine I will be obligated to drink a bunch of Starbucks, watch a lot of Fraser, and listen to a lot of Nirvana.

(I'll probably wear flannel even without the city obligation).

So yeah. On the one hand, I'm excited for the vacation. On the other ... well, I've never been to a Pony con before. Just eyeballing the schedule makes it look like there'll be enough to do. If nothing else, I'll probably lurk at the back of various fanfic panels and have, like, OPINIONS, man. Not to mention there's a Tails of Equestria-RPG session on the schedule, which I will endeavor to attend ... and while I'll be happy to tag in with whatever pre-genned characters are available, I will absolutely play Flash Sentry (HERO OF EQUESTRIA) and/or Special Agent Golden Harvest if given the slightest of opportunities. So, uh, whoever's running that event better watch out.

But yeah. Any of you nerds going to EFNW? Just wondering who's out there who'll buy me beers in exchange for me signing their crude printouts of my FiMfic output. Not that I can't afford my own beers, but it's the principle of the thing.

Also it seems I won't be on any cons proper but I will happily pontificate at you if given the slightest of provocations.

Which is to say you probably shouldn't talk to me if given the chance.

Lol Seattle is terrible. Lived there for 5 years before moving to a State with sun

I live in Florida. Too much sun is definitely a problem that can happen (although not recently, what with the tropical depression and all).

"It was raining 5 minutes ago, huh? Fuck you, here's some more sun so it's hot AND humid."

That said, I really hope this depression isn't indicative of what we'll get this hurricane season. Mother Nature needs to chill with all these natural disasters.

You know how hurricanes get more powerful? When they've got more hot water being pumped into the air and into them?

You know how you can make large amounts of water hot very quickly? Gotta heat up the planet. Gotta make the entire globe warm...

Kappa but no kappa

I won't be there, but I hope you have fun!

See you there. I’m driving. In Laramie now.

I'm going to EFNW. Driving up there tommorrow. Right now I'm busy catching up on stuff and preparing stuff. Trying to make sure I've got a lot of stuff fresh in my mind for the con.
