Sunset Shimmer ran away. There's really no other way to say it. One can call it exile, tactical retreat, or even a permanent change in residence, but the facts are the same. She turned her back on the only reality she had ever known, and ran away. By the time she stopped to look back, the damage was done. It was too late. Celestia would never forgive her. She would never forgive herself.

There's someone else who will, though.

No marriage is without its challenges, especially not that of Spike and Rarity. Despite the fairy tale-like circumstances surrounding their courtship (Beauty and the Beast is a popular reference made at dinner parties), their relationship is far from perfect: indeed, the combination of her overwhelmingly large dress orders and his frequent extended trips across Equestria as Celestia's personal envoy makes it seem as though neither one of them has any time for their significant other. Yet there is one key factor, one constant variable in their lives that will always be there to remind them of how much they love and care for one another, no matter what issues they face.

Many years have passed since the Mane 6 latest adventure, and life cannot be more peaceful. Unless your name is Starburst Sparkle, and your mother is Twilight Sparkle.
For her, being the daughter of the principal of the prestigious Harmony University is the least of her problems. And studying at the same school her mother did doesn't help in the slightest.
But Starburst isn't the kind of girl to feel small at any situation (that's it, smaller than what she is), and she will face any obstacle in her way, whenever is trying to approach a boy, trying to live up to her mother's fame or the duty that is being the heir of harmony.

It has been weeks since the defeat of the Dazzlings, and Sunset Shimmer's friendships have only gotten stronger. Whilst finally relaxing in the times of peace, Sunset discovers an old enemy: Sonata Dusk. Strangely alone and apparently homeless, Sonata's luck seems to be at its all time low.
Seeing a little of herself in the former siren, Sunset embarks on a mission to help Sonata find friendship.

Canterlot is experiencing some of the coldest weather it's had for the past few winters. The Christmas break has just finished and the thoughts of the holiday are starting to fade.

After the first day back to school, Sunset Shimmer runs across one of the Dazzlings, homeless and starving. On such a dangerously cold night, she takes compassion on the Siren and brings her home. Can her experiences help bring Aria out of the gutter? Will the Siren accept her help or, perhaps, her friendship?

Partly influenced by the insanely cold weather that my area experienced earlier this month.

After graduating high school, the gang from Equestria Girls are ready to take on more challenges then they can possibly handle including new threats making it's way from Equestria, finding out who they really are, falling in love and the toughest challenge yet, College.

While dealing with the mess after the fall formal, Sunset Shimmer must also find herself struggling with issues that she had thought was long forgotten. Will she be able to overcome her past or will she be destined to repeat the mistakes she had in the past?
