Scootaloo's family has always been a mystery: is she an orphan? Will we find out her family eventually? Is she somehow secretly related to Rainbow Dash?
The truth is, Scootaloo's one and only family member has been staring us in the face the whole time-a familiar pegasus who lives in a little cottage right outside of the Everfree Forest.

This takes place before Scootaloo meets the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and before Fluttershy meets any of the Mane Six-excluding Rainbow Dash. This is purely fanfiction-as far as we know, Fluttershy is not related to Scootaloo in any way, shape, or form.

Derpy hasn't spoken to her parents in nine years, and that suits her just fine.

But when a school project on family trees causes Dinky to raise questions about her grandparents, and why she's never met them, Derpy is forced to talk about the argument involving Dinky herself that caused her to leave her home.

After her parents’ divorce, Silver Spoon has chosen to move to Manehattan with her mother instead of staying with her father in Ponyville. It wasn’t an easy decision, leaving all of her friends behind, but she felt it was necessary. Living in the city will mean that she will have more opportunities to follow the destiny her new cutie mark has chosen for her after she was changed by the events of The Silver Spoons.
In the city, she will make and help friends new and old, find love for the first time, figure out her feelings toward her parents after all they’ve done, and find a way to help her aunt and autistic cousin through their hard times.
All the while, she’s trying to figure out why Luna insists on visiting her dreams and what her older sister, Octavia, meant by her last words before she headed back home.

Sunset Shimmer thought she was going to lose everything. Instead, she gained far more than she lost. With her new family, deeper bonds with her friends, and a firm understanding of the Magic of Friendship, Sunset is ready to face the new year.

However, she really didn't expect some of the problems which would arise from having a new home and better friendships. Sure, the curfew is bothersome, her new little sister tried to frame her for a crime she didn't commit, and her new Grandma wants her to learn to shoot a rifle, but these issues are manageable.

The fact that her new life seems to have reignited her magic- which she didn't even think was possible- is more worrisome. The fact that the new magic has attracted the attention of the smartest girl at Crystal Prep further complicates matters. However, the real issue is that the new magic seems to want to be used- and is continuing to spread.

Sunset's starting to wonder if she'll ever get a break...

It's been three weeks since the battle of the bands, they didn't have the money for anything and now? Audigo and Aria have disappeared, leaving Sonata alone. It's up to someone with her own demons and a DJ to save the youngest siren from herself, but can she make in time? Or will she be too late? All Scootaloo has ever really wanted is a family, and the closest she ever got to it growing up in a foster home was an older girl named Sunset Shimmer who became her big sister. But once Sunset started to go to Canterlot High School, she vanished for a couple of days before coming back, different than the younger girl remembered.

She later finds out that the Sunset that returned wasn't the same Sunset that she had become close to. She tried to ignore it and move on, but the same question kept nagging at her mind.

What happened to her big sister? And what will she do now?

During spring break, Sweetie Belle gets the opportunity to go to Manehattan with Rarity while she works with fashion guru Hoity Toity. At the same time, Silver Spoon is with her uncle who just happens to Hoity Toity! Forced to be with each other for the whole week, the fillies realize that they have a lot in common.

Note: *This is NOT a SilverBelle shipping story. While I respect other bronies shippings, I rather keep the two as friends and only friends.*

Home is where the heart is. But where exactly is your heart? Is it with your family? Or is it with the person you believe to be the one?
Silver Spoon faces these questions and more as complications at home lead to her life changing forever.
