The freedom to walk between universes is a freedom denied from even the most skilled unicorns. To unicornfolk, it is less an achievable goal and more of a fairytale. But Twilight Sparkle, her brand new alicorn powers just beginning to settle inside of her, does not see a fairy tale. She sees a possibility that will impress both the other princesses and the citizens of Equestria. However, a test run of this spell does not go as perceived. Twilight Sparkle ends up an unwilling visitor in the mind of Princess Luna.
But she is not alone.

Twilight Sparkle has done it. After ten long years of fighting, she has taken over Equestria as its new princess. While there is much to heal, much to change, and much to do in order to bring about the new Equestria she has envisioned for so long, she must deal with the hardest thing she has ever done. Judging the friends and loved ones she had to fight. Will they submit to her, help her crate the new world for all beings? Or will they take the hangman’s noose?

When strange black clouds gather over Equestria, it marks the beginning of a dangerous new adventure. Now the Mane Six must travel to a strange, dark realm to save the friends who are being held prisoner there. Will they succeed? Or will the darkness of this world consume all of Equestria?

When Rainbow Dash suddenly proclaims her love and adoration for a certain 'Miss Sparkle' and tells her friends the story of how the unicorn 'fixed' her, the girls are hesitant to take the situation at face value. However, even they can't deny it when the facts begin to build into a case against Twilight. Twilight claims innocence but her words sound like hollow excuses and obvious lies. The four of them are left wondering if Twilight Sparkle is truly the hero she once was or if she has finally allowed her true nature to show: the nature of a heartless psychopath.

[ 'Miss Sparkle' occurs a few months before Twilight's ascension, early in the spring of Twilight's second year in Ponyville. According to my version of the chronological timeline, the only episodes of the first three seasons that have yet to take place are (in chronological order) "Wonderbolts Academy", "Just for Sidekicks", "Games Ponies Play", "Spike At Your Service", "Keep Calm and Flutter On" and "Magical Mystery Cure". ]
