It's June 6th, 1944, the 101st Airborne parachuted into France, beginning one of biggest invasions of human history. After the horrendous drops that took place on the night of the drops, Matthews finds himself alone with only his rifle and what ammo he has left. While lost, he meets up and befriends someone that no one would'v ever expected in a war zone. That certain someone is Twilight Sparkle.

James Moore, is one of only five hundred humans on Equis. After a fateful encounter with Trixie lulamoon, he's been roped into redemming the mare's reputation, and getting her life back together. It's a tall order for a twenty year old with a violent streak, and a drinking problem.

A dark and lonely night in the Canterlot archives is broken open when Twilight breaks in and roots through scroll after scroll, struggling to find a way to cheat death.

For hundreds of years humanity had been fighting a losing war. Outnumbered and out maneuvered they looked for a way out of the war as quickly as possible with as few causalities as they could. They found their answer: Project SKIRMISH. Now, centuries since the end of the First Contact War, Humanity is nearing the seat of the galactic throne. With new found allies, resources and technology humanity has all but pushed back the alien invaders, cured all illnesses and plagues, tripled human life spans and are always looking to the horizon.

After a fleet of Frigates are destroyed in an unexplored system only a handful of Pilots are left. With no other options they are forced to land on an unknown world and quickly form alliances, or fight for survival with their limited resources and technology.

Tonight, you will hear a knock at your door. When you open it you will be treated to a horror beyond imagination. Your eyes will behold the equine form, dead and bloodied, for some reason you may never know reanimated by mechanical parts. The stench of decayed flesh, along with the inexplicable scent of cooking meat will flood your nasal cavity. Your ears will be assaulted by clanks and whirs of the crude cyborg nightmare.

This is Lyra Heartstrings, whom something terrible has befallen. If you turn her away she will surely be put out of her misery by police or military forces once reported. But if you take her into your care, she has a chance.

She may never know your name, see your face, hear your voice, but you can do the right thing.

I've known this man for years, listening to his fantastical tales of wonder and love. I was the first to believe that they were true. And it all started with a simple question: "Have you ever made a promise to someone, a promise so special that no matter what, you had to fulfill it?"
