Applejack has always been protective of Apple Bloom; especially after their family has endured great tragedy. When a Social Worker comes calling to collect her sister; how will the Apple family handle this new development? What happens when AJ and said worker fall in love?

Some experimental fiction with parts of my personal pain mixed in.

As Luna wanders the streets of Canterlot, she wonders if things could have gone better 1,000 years ago, and if the citizens of Equestria will ever forgive and accept their true Princess of the Night.

Author's Note: So, I was listening to "On My Own" from Les Misérables, and it inspired me to some sort of sad story about a character feeling like they were being shunned or ignored, so yeah. I even listened to it as I worked, and "A Little Fall of Rain."

Edit: The story is currently cancelled due to inactivity after a few years. However, I'm currently contemplating rebooting the story at some point, so any comments and suggestions on what you like/dislike would be appreciated.

It's been several months since the Alicorn Amulet incident, and much has changed for the Great and Powerful Trixie. Her reputation damaged once again, she continues on with her magic act, determined to try and turn over a new leaf. With Twilight Sparkle now an alicorn princess, however, Trixie finds herself plagued with nightmares and a renewed sense of jealousy. Sympathetic to the mare's feelings, which mirror ones she once held long ago, Princess Luna decides to intervene.
