Sometimes, bad things happen to good ponies. A year following a tragic incident, Twilight Sparkle returns to Ponyville to visit what she has been missing - her town, her memories, and most importantly, her friends. But will everything be as she remembers it?

This story has a sequel titled "In History, Maybe".

You probably never would've guessed that I, a being born from chaos and lies, once knew love. But it's true. And the one I had loved had been the only thing that made sense in this confounding world. But she broke my heart, and left me to wallow in the abyss of rejection.

She called me a monster.

And I showed them just what a monster really is.

(A little piece inspired by...well, it was mainly inspired by Aviator's song "Monster", but seeing as that was based on the comic "Discordantly", I suppose that the comic deserves more credit.)

For as long as she can remember, Cadance has been shadowed by a filly who looks suspiciously like her deceased mother. But when she and the filly finally speak, Cadance begins to realize that the filly is somepony else altogether, a pony with a secret only Cadance can solve. But whats a filly to do when her only clue is a few strange pictures?
