(A practice story to clear my writer's block)

Its late. Zap apple season is over. AJ is in the barn finishing up some work, when a knock on the door is heard.
Who could it be at this hour?
It's Rainbow.

Okay. Everything is set, everypony is here. All that's left is for her to come down the aisle and for us to say our vows. Come on, Rainbow. You got this.

The weather ponies have a strong storm planned to make way for the end of autumn. Applejack has to finish off her apple harvest. With a little help from Rainbow and Twilight will she succeed in getting it done in time?
One bad mistake leads to another. Someone's sure to end up hurt.
And someone's sure to end up with a lover.

As the Grand Galloping Gala draws near, Rainbow Dash is set to impress with the dress Rarity had designed. She is met with approval from all but one pony.

Holy cow, this totally got featured! Apparently you people really like Appledash and scenes with Rainbow letting her guard down. Thank you all for reading, rating, commenting, or all of the above!

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have gotten so far and have made so much progress in their relationship that they both believe that it's time to become a 100% legitimate family. They both want a child, they both wish to be mothers...

but neither of them want to be the Mother

"Mama? Where did I come from?"
The simple question from her daughter sends Applejack reeling. She knows the answer, of course; but she doesn't really want to share it. Luckily, she's got some... other answers as to how this little filly came into her and Rainbow Dash's life. Completely true? No; but definitely entertaining.

Hey everyone! This is my first time writing anything substantial in the past three years, and I have to say that it feels good to be back. This was a quick little thing written for the first Preening Group Contest, partially at the insistence of a friend. There was no editor involved, and it took slightly under an hour and a half. Kind of slow to write, but I'll improve.
