Being able to change forms at will just comes naturally for a changling. But when Rogue loses this ability, he is also released from Queen Chrysalis' telepathic Control-Link control over him.
After the Battle of Canterlot is over, and he's the only changling left in all of Canterlot, he sets out to track down the lavender unicorn responsible, to thank her for saving him.
Little does he know that he would have the chance to return the favor very soon.
But how will Twilight and her friends react to this?
What will the Princesses have to say?
How will his former Queen take his rebellion?
Is Rogue really alone in his resistance?

Queen Chrysalis and King Metamorphosis are two ruling changelings from two separate Hives, each one having a certain enmity toward one another due to events in their past. When they separately learn of the wedding between Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, they plan to ruin it by taking the places of the ponies to be wed. However, they are completely unaware of each other's involvement or intent.

With both putting on a deceptive act toward one another, what happens when the deceivers are unknowingly deceived themselves? And can Shining and Cadance, each believing they must save one another from a fake, be reunited, or will they fall prey to the entrapment of the changelings?

An alternate storyline to A Canterlot Wedding.

Dedicated to Victor Frost, for without his Colt Version of "This Day Aria", I might never have come up with this.

High school can be tough; what with having to dodge bullies, ditzy clique sets, scene kids, meatheaded jocks and the other assorted characters that populate it, it can be a nightmare! That's especially true for the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

All that changes one Hearts and Hooves Day when Sweetie Belle finds out that someone is watching her. This someone isn't a new bully or perverted jock staring at her flank when he thinks she isn't looking. This someone is eloquent, poetic, and very much in love with her. But who could it be? Who could fall for someone so on the bottom of the high school social pyramid? More importantly, what will she do when she finds out?

WARNING: Contains minor spoilers for my other fics.

Crescent Sparkle, the son of a bookseller. He grew up in Canterlot with his parents and their bookstore. Starry Night or Star as her friends call her is the daughter of one of Cantetlot's noble families and she is predestined to marry into Royalty, but what happened when these two ponies meet and they fall for each other.

This is part of my 'SoarLight' series, but you do not need to read those to understand this story. It a stand alone fic about Twilight's parents.

Thanks to Celestia's Paladin for help in planning this story.
Also, thanks to WinterTwister for help in editing Chapter 1.

The Sangheili are a saurian species of fierce, proud, strong, agile, intelligent warriors and skilled combat tacticians. They are named after their home planet, Sanghelios, and are known to Humans as Elites, due to their adeptness and skill in combat. The Sangheili formed the military backbone of the Covenant for almost the entirety of its existence, they fear very little, and take great pride in an ancient, honor-laden code.

However, this group of Spec Ops Elites, Grunt, and Kig-Yar have crashed landed in Equestria by way of a slipspace drive being detonated in the middle of the ship they were heading to, the 'Glory Upon Salvation'.

Now they have to find a way off the planet and back into space so they can continue their journey to the Blessed Path... by dropping hot plasma on human worlds.
But will they want to, when something they revere tells them otherwise?

Leave it to Pinkie Pie to find a velociraptor in the Everfree Forest and somehow tame it. When the frizzy-haired pony tries to show off her new reptilian friend, though, things don't go quite as planned. For some strange reason, none of her friends seem too happy to meet Utah, despite Pinkie's assurances that he's totally harmless.

Hilarity, chaos, and several Jurassic Park references ensue.

The Reaper War was a harsh and cruel mistress to the galaxy. Trillions of people died. Thousands of worlds burned. Annoying reporters got kneed in the stomach. But above all, tales of heroism; the Miracle at Palaven, the evacuation of Uqbar by a single Alliance ship, the reconciliation of the geth and the quarians over a century-long feud.

But above all else, the N7s.

While not technically N7s, Alliance Command was willing to let the name be used. The N7s were balls-to-the-wall hardcore badasses; four of them were usually enough to hold a position against endless waves of indoctrinated humans, rogue Geth, Reaper Husks, or Collectors, made of a species long passed. No species or gender was restricted because no species or gender was safe. And one of these teams - Aleph Squad, a six-man testament to diversity and asskickery, was one of the best of the best.

After the end of the War, however, Aleph Squad went MIA. Nobody knows what happened to them. Not even Aleph Squad knows what happened to them. All they know is this; something went really wrong with the Crucible, because now they're stuck on a planet full of colorful talking horses and they can't get off.

Kuno, a young changeling, is left weak, bloodied, and bruised after the events of the Canterlot wedding. She is soon discovered by Warden, a Royal Guard. But for some reason, Warden shows her mercy. Instead of taking her into the custody of the Royal Guard, he becomes both her captor and her savior. But over time, Kuno will come to ask herself the hardest question she has ever pondered: Can a changeling feel love?
