Bómù Guāng Shǎn, the Prince of Friendship, asks Mèng Huàn, the Prince of the Night, for help investigating a mirror universe. The ponies there call it Equestria instead of Cōng Mǎ Guó, and it might have a few other differences, too...

Yachts, galleys, sloops, motorboats, carracks, canoes, cutters, man-o-wars, dinghies, toy, plastics ones, cogs, battleships, speedboats, raceboats, ironclads, steamboats, ships of the line, kayaks, pontoons, barges, tugboats, ketches, lifeboats, schooners, cruisers, pirogues, trawlers, viking ships, gondolas, pleasure barges, blackwall frigates, rafts, and my very favorite, the one taken for adventure as well, the caravel.

Anyways, enjoy this random heaping of various impulses to thrust two (or more) innocent, fictional characters into often improbable circumstances where they become attracted to each other. Or, maybe it'll just be friendshipping. That's a very rare ship, though. Usually it's pedal-to-the-medal or nothing. I thought about posting each thing as a single story, but that'd get very tedious.

Everypony daydreams.

Some ponies daydream about becoming rich and famous. Other ponies daydream about meeting their one true love. Still others daydream about becoming great heroes.

Celestia's daydreams are nothing like that. Indeed, when her mind wanders, she imagines what her life would be like if she was an ordinary mare. No tiara, no wings, no castle. Just an ordinary mare living an ordinary life in an ordinary town.

What would those daydreams look like?

My name's Sun Glow. I'm a Pegasus working at the Baltimare Weather Department because that's the only place that will take me. The only thing people care about is that I look like a Pegasus version Princess Celestia and I hate it! Day in, Day out, getting mistaken for her, getting comments about it, being denied jobs because of it and a lot of accusations of being a Changeling. I hate it! I want it changed but nopony can change but there's one pony that probably can: the Princess herself.

I never asked for this look and I've had it since birth. But all I know right now is that if the Princess can't change it, nopony can.

Ever since she arrived in Canterlot to enact her reign as a princess, Twilight has felt a strange feeling.

The feeling of being watched, it follows her around day after day, driving her crazy. Is the new princess truly sensing a stalker or is her mind playing tricks on her again?

"Dear Princess Celestia, as your (former) most faithful student, I feel I have to warn you that this is probably a trap. Chrysalis cannot possibly be serious about this. Why would anyone, much less her, want to shoot a documentary on us?"

Chrysalis, queen of all the changeling hives and infinitely cunning architect of their plans to conquer Equestria, has a problem: She knows diddly-squat about ponies. But Chrysalis is cleverer than most—or all—changelings, and she's already devised a brilliant solution to this trifling issue: Make a movie about them.
