It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). Now with technical out of the way, I wish you all happy reading, and I hope you have fun.

A human with a sour temper, an immunity to magic and mischievously-sinister tendencies appears in Celestia's garden. His body suffers from a strange case of disproportionate deformity, and he displays a certain degree of genre savviness regarding the ponies' world. Using this knowledge, the human struggles to avoid "cliches" to the point of obsession. His attitude constantly pushes away the ponies and their attempts at friendship, while he intends to use the brightly-colored equines to gain a stranglehold on their economics. Combining cartoon-physics and manipulation, the human slowly rises to the occasion in order to swindle the wealthy, assert his presence, and dominate his environment.

Just how far into his quest for wealth, however, will the ponies let him get?

(A self-insert that is fully conscious of cliches, contains swearing and some mildly violent and offensive themes. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. So don't whine about it. Welcome to the internet.)

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

There are things you just don't say. Some lines you just don't cross, ever. The reason you don't cross them is because of empathy: you know how bad it feels to hear certain things, and you know you wouldn't like it if you heard it yourself. This is a view not shared by everypony.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon crossed the line. Rarity learns of it. Rarity is not amused.

Everypony draws their line in the sand somewhere.

Disclaimer: contains Rarity in a state of barely lucid rage as well as the use of harsh words. Also Cheerilee being as effective as she is in the show, on average. If you do not enjoy episodes like Ponyville Confidential or any other episode where ponies talk harshly to each other, chances are this'll ruffle some feathers.

Taking on the name of a famous hero, he's hoping to rally the forces against those who would eradicate the dead. Adventure awaits in the four corners of the world, and he's gonna explore...a good portion of it. And throughout it all, he hopes to prove two things:

Spike has been away on royal business for about a month. Pinkie, Twilight and the rest of the gang are planning a big party for him when he returns. Things seem to be going smoothly until certain happenings lead Spike to question the way other ponies see him, specifically one purple-maned unicorn, and a turn of events results in them seeing a part of Spike none of them-including him-knew existed. It seems they didn't know as much about Spike as they think they did...

Chapter 15 is up!

Many years ago, uncountable by some, a mighty race existed on the planet of Equus. But back then it was known by another name, Earth. These creatures were called humans and they existed in numbers ranging in the billions. But with so many people and so many different kinds there were a few "mutations" that changed some humans into monsters with special powers and a curse to live forever and never die of natural causes. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and zombies were the majority of these mutants. Hated and hunted by their normal brethren they led their lives in secrecy and darkness. But then everything changed when an alien named Discord destroyed the world and exterminated the human race. His rampage changed the landscape and drove all of human kind into extinction. It wasn't until another alien race know as Alicorns stopped Discord and made the changed and crippled world their home and renaming it. They created a race of intelligent creatures called ponies as well as many other different races to populate and sustain the world and their magic kept balance in check with the rising and setting of the sun and moon. But as for the human race only five survived and only because of their powers. Two vampires, a werewolf, a poltergeist, and a zombie. They have taken to staying together and keeping their existence a secret from this new dominant race. So for many years they lay in hiding, waiting for their chance to come out of hiding and try to find new and better lives for themselves. Finally that day has come for them to prove themselves as good beings and not monsters. And they will start by saving the city of Canterlot from the changeling attack.

It was suppose to be a normal day of sky diving for two bored friends. But fate had other plans for our them, as they somehow traveled to an alternate universe. This not only proves the multiverse theory, but also leaves our friends bored, confused, and, worst of them all, hungry. how will they deal with this new odd possibly dangerous universe? Will they accept their new life? Or rage quit and destroy everything? Okay maybe not the destroying everything....yet. How will they react to the technicolor inhabitants? How will the inhabitants react to them? Why am I still asking these questions? Why are you still reading this description? Read the damn story already!
