Blasting "Caramelldansen" as I Accelerate Towards the Cliff Edge (And Also PonyFest 2.0 Panel Announcements) · 9:17pm Apr 23rd, 2020
That's the closest thing I have to a metaphor for 2019 me heading into 2020.

I know it looks like I haven't been creative much - at least, if my writing output's any indication. To some extent, that's true: chalk it up to work, my parents being an incessant thorn in my side and good old-fashioned depression. But truth be told, there's been at least some work there, and I've gotten enough requests from folks I know to share it that I figure I should share what i have, complete or not.
A sequel to my nighttime thoughts form. This may include headcanons and theories that I would like to share as well.
On the one hoof, Celestia and Luna are the closest thing Equestria has to gods. They control the sun, the moon, and the stars; they're thousands of years old and still in their prime; they're capable of magical feats beyond any unicorn. The only beings who've ever fought either of them to a standstill are each other, Discord, Chrysalis (beefed up on more love than she'd ever known before), and the Smooze (who, under the circumstances, we can file under Discord). What they fought couldn't have
This blog was meant to collect and show off some new art cuts I've been making. You know, the ones where I take a jpg or a screenshot and cut out the background in order to capture an epic face moment. I've made videos on this process. Anyway, while I do have a few of those that are ready to be shared, the computer on which those art cuts are stored is about one day left from retirement. (Short story on that is: yesterday it had a bunch of audio problems that led to crashes, today it had
Blue coat and yellow mane? Yep, Star Tracker and Scene Stealer are definitely bros. In fact, Star Tracker probably laid it on so thick because he knows his brother has an awesome girlfriend and he feels the need to top him. Weird teenage sibling rivalry and stuff, or at least that's my headcanon.
I've just read Krickis's post on when the portal to the human world opens, and while composing a reply to some of the comments there, I've come across a rather nice coincidence (and co-incidence) in how often it opens. Before I describe it, though, some groundwork is necessary to establish the conditions that make it work. I can't help but take the opportunity to describe my own
(I have not watched the finale. No spoilers!)
I know there's been speculation over the Young Six being the next Bearers of Harmony, partly from this:
Ponies have speculated that the aura colors indicate which Element each of the Six hold, but...
This post has to do with the new season of My Little Pony and does contain some information about it. Not exactly spoilers in itself to me (especially since Flurry Heart was shown to be an alicorn in the advertisements), but just in case, it will be below the break.
Just got a review for one of my MLP stories I put on fanfiction.net.
I mean it is nice to see a review rival the length of my story. But the lengthy review really boiled down to something like you did okay but Maud in my opinion is kind of mean to Pinkie now in season six and seven so I the reader wanted to say how you didn't take that into account. Also it was fine but okay.
Because of certain extenuating circumstances, I had originally planned to make this my 101st blog, but I am unable to do so in a timely fashion
This was going to be my 101st, my 100th was going to be my 99th, and my 101st was going to be 100th, but oh well
BUT THATS OK
BECAUSE THIS BLOG IS ABOUT
MOTHERFUCKING HOMESTUCK YO
I like this episode. While it doesn't explore the topic in-depth, it does a pretty good job indirectly addressing Fluttershy's own growth through her brother and her parents. Also, we get to learn more about the relations between characters. The moral is rather appropriate and positive, too. Now then, unto the thoughts!
I've been fortunate enough to have all of my fics make it into the Popular Box at one point or another. But now, I've done the impossible.
I've made it into the Featured Box.
To my credit, I've been calm and and haven't lost my cool despite this amazing honor--
"Elsa, come on!"
Elsa smiled gingerly as she watched her younger sister skip across the snow, though it became more difficult as the snow began to grow deeper. Winter had come earlier than in more recent years, but Elsa never minded it that much. She was just glad to be able to be near her sister.
I need to vent. Because I just stumbled over the greatest and biggest absurdity I've ever had to encounter in 33 years on this planet. I have the feeling that I need to write this down to prevent myself from going nuts. That's how bad it is.
I'm starting to notice I tend to put the mane six into certain roles whenever I write them into my stories or imagine new concepts. Here are some examples:
Applejack
Roles I tend to imagine her in: Isolation, Mare of Action, Combat
So today I'm going to be running through three episodes that I have yet to comment on, despite having now seen about a month or two ago.
