This was a short video I made for my college editing class. The assignment was to take clips from the 1925 silent film "Battleship Potemkin", and recut any scenes we wanted in our own way, and set them to a musical track of our choice.
Well, I kind of went a little bit overboard with mine. I ended up creating a whole, meme-filled soundscape for the project just to see if I could.
Hello everypony, I'm here to ask if there is anypony willing to edit my story Lovely Lovely Lovely. Right at this point it's kinda mediocre to be honest and I can use some help. It's a story where this brony is placed in cadence's body after they were killed on the same day, but Cadence didn't process Hogarth's body (Human who is cadence right now) who is dead permanently in his world, he still pissed his memories and everything plus this is 10 years in the past and he is kinda unpredictable at
If any of you have gdocs, send me a link and I'll invite you guys for editing. I can use some help
I suggest reading at least the latest chapter again for a better understanding of the next chapter and rest of the entire story.
Hey Guys The Dragonblood Knight chapter 1 has been edited once again. Hope you guys like it
Sorry for the bother,
I was looking for some editing help on my stories, including the next chapter of Asylum, and I was also looking for some feedback on the stories in general to help me nail down some pernicious issues I've been facing.
Please PM me if you're willing and able to help. And let me offer my thanks ahead of time, because I do appreciate it all!
Sincerely,
Derek (aka DoD)
Been a long time since I did a writing blog...
When you hit that "publish" button and make your story publicly readable, what sort of responsibilities do you have about it? In most cases, the real answer is "none," or at least "none beyond the ones you decide to take on voluntarily," but there are common ones that most authors would agree they'd try to uphold.

It's long, but it's a good read. :V
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I am now in need of another editor that has proficiency in pointing out and correcting grammatical/syntax-related errors. If you want, you can also be of service to me in giving me tips on plot-development of soon-to-be-uploaded chapters and stories, and little things like that, etc.
If you're interested, contact me via PMing me on here. We can discuss in further detail there.
So Editor Man first ran into technical problems even looking at the document I sent him (for some reason he couldn't leave comments) then he had a bunch of important life stuff keep him busy. I told him not to fret because honestly... The chapter is done. At least the damn thing is done! Before we couldn't even say that much.
It's kind of a long shot getting an update tomorrow. Whenever the chapter is done, it shall go up, regardless of what day it is!

[10:34:59 AM] Daniel Jay: Be prepared for... like... MASSIVE rewrites...
[10:35:07 AM] Daniel Jay: Like, an ungodly number of rewrites.

Hey everyone I am pleased to announce that I have found a 2nd editor for "Mum's the Word" and all three chapters will be updated again very soon. I will like to thank Word Worthy for his time and help with my fanfic.
An overall refinement was made to We're All Equal Here. Nothing major that changes the story. I just wanted to do some editing, tightening, and clarifying of the story. I posted it in a rush three weeks ago and wasn't happy about some of the sloppiness that made it in. I apologize for that. It should sound and flow better now.
Welcome back! So, very quickly, first the news, nice and quick: There's a Labor Day Sale. You should check it out. Boom, done, on to the next docket: The Dragon Award winners have been announced, and there are some who are very unhappy about it (guess who?). If curious, check that out here.
Today I am going to explain common mistakes and how to stop them before they happen.
Errors: Here is an example of a simple error.
Again Vinyl Scratch waltzed the waltzed of the uncertain, retreating as if unsure, drawing closer as if to gathering courage.

Due to a minor change in status, I was recently given an updated employment contract to sign. I'm sure most people would sign such a thing without looking at it, but I'm both pedantic and paranoid so I actually read the thing through, just to make sure it didn't do anything stupid - like forbid me from ever working for a competitor, or claim ownership of anything I create. Half an hour later, I handed the contract back - covered in red marks. Typos, bad grammar, organisational errors, broken
