Honestly, there's not much I really want from Season 9. I'm planning on continuing writing for a while, and anything that didn't show up I can just headcanon into existence. (I already think I'm going to be HCing out a few things anyway.) Now, the one thing I would like to see but I don't think we'll get is a song for either Rockhoof or Somnambula or a duet. Best accents should get a song, in my humble opinion.

Frienemies was a good episode. Honestly, seeing the three work together to backstab him in the end. Although, small thing, couldn't Grogar sense the bell in the hideout? IDK, just seems strange. Also, the song was toe tapping catchy fun. Haven't had a good villain song like that in awhile. It was nice. Probably going to cause more of a storm in the cover community of the fandom than This Day Aria ever did. All around great episode, would definitely watch again.

So, I recently learned thanks to Facebook that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is ending after season 9. Nice to finally have confirmation on this! I have been a die-hard fan of this series since 2012 and while I am quite saddened to see this show end, I would rather it end now than it overstay its welcome and get stale like so many other long-running shows. I'm re re watching the Season 9 opener and noticed, as Sombra's cloak is flowing out behind him while he's laughing at the mane 6 about the destruction of the Tree of Harmony, he's a Blank Flank.

What if THAT was what made him turn to darkness?

What if he was being teased for it by other ponies so he tried to find a short cut to get one, or sought out power to get back at those who made fun of him, and instead of getting a Cutie Mark, he got power over darkness, shadow, and fears?

I call it the Harmoniaverse, based on what things you'll learn in my prequel story "The Tragedy of Laurana, and Grogar".

I've also figured out how to rename the story itself. Though to be honest, it's more of a split decision, since calling my series "MLP S09 REDUX* all the time is idiotically redundant.
