one of the few stories to make me shed a tear. such an excellent story. I may only be in my twenties but I can already tell when im an old grandpa ill be feeling the exact same way as Dash. I just hope I have somepony like AJ to help me through it.
BTW it was a huge mistake on my part to keep my TV on when reading. Tosh.0 came on and kept distracting me and ruining the feels

.... this story does have some emotion, it did show how Rainbow would react and Applejack's nature

Please don't take it as an insult, but that song really fits. even the guitar solo...
Liked it. I'm more of a fan of the concise punch when it comes to introspection in short form fiction but not always.
This reminds me of a story I wanted to write about Rarity. It's somewhere: "Portrait of a Lady" based on the Eliot poem (read it seriously go read and feel ashamed vicariously because Eliot was really honest about himself)
