Well, this seems off to a good start. Sure there were some part that irked me a bit (such as you using nauseous instead of nauseated), but it shouldn't matter all that much.

Anyway, now that you've through with the parallel timeline to the original story, I do look forward to what comes next.
I want to like this. I really do. I just... can't. Twilight isn't a character in this story, she's a tool for the writer to show us all the things she doesn't do while rewriting the prequel as a whole.
More than that, it's the same scene over and over: Pinkie yanking Twilight from wherever she is > Seeing the Dash and AJ segments > Wingboner and/or blush for Dash > Wingboner and/or blush for Twilight > Something about feelings that distract Twilight while Pinkie makes another bet, which is another thing that only exists to cater to the previous story's drama. (I never knew that Pinkie to be cruel enough to take bets on her friend's happiness.)

I can understand how the build up might come across like that. But I can assure you that Twilight is very much a character in the story, just as Dash was a character in the original story. Similarly, Twilight has been treated to one hell of a rollercoaster ride, exactly the same way that Dash was, but the ride is over now, Twi is back on her hooves, and what comes next is up to her.
As for Pinkie, alcohol makes people do strange things, but a bet is a type of promise, and you'll note that at no time did she do anything to hinder Applejack or change the outcome. Her usual methods simply had to be adapted to account for the accompanying presence of another pony.

I personally find Rarijack extremely unrealistic, because Rarity and Applejack are complete opposites, and the authors that write Rarijack seem to have to make the two ponies act in ways that they might not act in the show, whereas Applejack and Rainbow Dash are very similar, so authors can make them say and do things while still being in character.
Just my opinion.
