If I read the previous chapter right he caused Applebloom to fall simply by getting angry and threatening that Applebloom slowly backed away in fear without knowing of her surroundings behind her and fell. I'm sure that plus the stories he wrote and ruining their reputations will put him behind bars for a long time. Plus seeing the Mane 6 wanting justice would be perfect to see.
