Ahhh, good times indeed. Loving it so far.

So much is going on here. :pinkiecrazy:

Still, I must see it through.

Okay, this seems to be the point where the word "epic" becomes applicable.

Wow. So hooked.

I'm gonna blog this around now - extremely cool. BEST LUNA characterization I've ever read, AND you nailed her Olde speak! Just a joy to read! I still have some chapters to go, but going nuts and over-reacting is what I do!

Thank you for the recommendation, Dusty! As I had anticipated, this certainly a piece worthy of praise and notice!

... why did I post this in the Prologue? OH WELL!

Credit for Luna's speech and character goes to Gabriel.

Sooner or later, fangs must be bared.

A unique premise and well written. I'm hooked.

And so we draw to a quiet, but well-earned, finish.

Bravo.

If I may suggest two things for the description: First a link either to my page or a good Luna-centric story; second, maybe a subscript-sized fine print note about the slight disconnect between our shared canons (the difference in methods for reproduction and the status of Starsong. Love that they were thinking of Jasper at the end. I'd imagine he has his own pups to care for.

Writing out all the events that happen over the course of that one year, would qualify as 'Ending Fatigue.'
But yes, He and Centre have foalpups now

Ah. Well, folks will figure out they are different.

Nicely done. Well written and very intriguing.
I liked it.

So are the Smooze and Yogg'Saron related? They seem to have similar styles.

Yogg was one of the references that I used.

Teal metal that drives you insane, now where have I encountered that before. Hmm...

So I'm curious, what is that break in fanon between you and Gabriel? This seems to jive well with what was said in "The Judgement" about the Princesses providing this service as an occasional reward- the only difference is that Dr. Alkaline implied here that it's somewhat more common than in the other stories. Anything else?
Um... something to actually review... epic story here, but despite having read all of your and Gabriel's stories up to this point (the main fanon ones, at least, I'm not big on the clop), it felt like I came in in the middle of something; there are a lot of plot points that are really skimmed over. Was Zadacha just another name for the Randomoids? What's the difference between them and the Objectivists? Did Starswirl seriously summon Celestia and Luna into pony bodies out of thin air? There's another random alicorn- who's killed off in one chapter? (Granted, that Captain was pretty awesome- was she the same as Kalterbriss from later?) That said, Cheerilee was well portrayed- having barely seen G3 I can't really speak to the other two, but Starsong and Toola are at least pretty fun.

#1. The Cloning Process. That's what I was originally thinking, but I need to revise it.
#2. Zadacha is/was a Subset of the Objectivists.
#3. The Summoning of Celestia and Luna. Summoning spirits to inhabit a body that had already been prepared and provided. So no, it's not totally 'Thin air' incarnation.
#4. Bozena. She wore the form of an alicorn, but didn't have the same splendor, since she took a shortcut. In case it wasn't totally clear, the power that she and others used is based on the flesh-sculpting power from Vampire the Masquerade.

It really annoys me that you have the translations for stuff at the start ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM of a really long chapter. I know I can ctrl-F it, but that doesn't help when you have the ones at the bottom a different format than when they occur in the story. If you have it [1] in the story, you need to have it [1] at the bottom as well.

This was a fantastic addition to Gabriel's Universe. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, especially the Baba Yaga. I was always curious how she got around with a mortar and pestle.
